Responsible for merchant recruitment in assigned regions and for managing the quality and consistency of product and service delivery.ResponsibilitiesPresent and sell company products and services to potential merchants.Recruit appropriate merchants from application process to signing the contract. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up. Identify and resolve client concerns. Other duties as assigned.Person SpecificationBasic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to persuade and influence others. Knowledge of sales promotion techniques an advantage.Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public. Ability to undertake significant local travel to current and potential clients.
